Chattanooga Zoo is happy to announce the birth of a tiny baby snow leopard. Born Jan. 10, the baby is growing rapidly and has now reached over 5 pounds! For some time, zoo officials did not even know about the pregnancy mom-barsihi Kesmir because of snow leopard cubs are born very rare in captivity at this time of year. These rare leopards are in the nature of extinction, and the Chattanooga Zoo is playing a vital role in their savings.
